The Andalusian company Arión consolidates itself in the market. The manufacturer of business comprehensive management software has been awarded a contract of 6 million euros for the implementation of technological support to improve human resources management in the Generalitat Valenciana [Valencian Regional Government]

The project, which started this month and will last approximately two years, initially supported a group of more than 30,000 public employees due to the computer solution –BAS ERP –that will be implemented in the first phase in the [Ministry in the regional government of Justice and Public Administration. It will later extend to the rest of the departments of the Generalitat.
With this contract, Arion beats other software manufacturers who operate in the market such as SAP o Meta 4. Likewise, the company reaffirms its position in the Spanish public sector, after receiving other awards such as the one achieved in the Government of Castilla y León, which already uses its technological tool for the comprehensive management of a group of more than 89,900 public servants.

Apart from the Spanish market, Arión is also present in Latin America – Chile, Mexico or Cuba – and is introducing its technology in the English market.

According to Juan Manuel Rufino Rus, president of Arión Grupo, ‘in the last few years, the vertical solution of our product, BAS-ERPfor the public sector has positioned itself as the only product able to tackle the comprehensive management of human resources in any public company’. In fact, he underlined in a communiqué, it is currently used by ‘a high number of Spanish administrations and public hospitals’.
